Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for SES Mailbox. By subscribing to a paid plan you agree to the terms below.

1. Subscription Billing

SES Mailbox Pro is a recurring monthly subscription. You are billed in advance at the start of each billing cycle. Indian customers are billed in INR (inclusive of 18% GST); international customers are billed in USD as an export of service. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay; we do not store your card details.

2. Free Plan

Our Free plan is free forever and requires no payment method. You can use it without ever upgrading. No charges apply unless you explicitly upgrade to Pro.

3. Cancelling Your Subscription

How to cancel

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription inside your dashboard. No email or support request is required.

What happens after cancellation

When you cancel, your Pro plan remains active until the end of the current billing period you have already paid for. After that date your account automatically reverts to the Free plan. You will not be charged again.

Your data

Cancelling does not delete your account or data. Your campaigns, lists, and subscribers remain available on the Free plan, subject to Free plan limits.

4. Refunds

Because subscriptions are billed in advance for service delivered over the period, we generally do not provide refunds for partial months or unused time after a cancellation. However, we will consider refunds in the following cases:

  • Duplicate or accidental charges
  • A confirmed billing error on our side
  • A documented service outage that prevented you from using Pro features for an extended period
  • Charges made after a cancellation was successfully requested

To request a refund, email support@sesmailbox.com within 7 days of the charge with your invoice number. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Razorpay and may take 5–10 business days to appear.

5. Add-on Seats

Additional team-member seats are billed monthly alongside your Pro plan. Removing a seat stops future billing for it from the next cycle; the current cycle is not pro-rated or refunded.

6. AWS SES Costs

SES Mailbox does not charge you for email volume — your AWS SES sending costs are billed directly by Amazon Web Services under your own AWS account. We have no control over and cannot refund AWS charges. Please refer to AWS billing for those costs.

7. Price Changes

We may change subscription prices from time to time. Any price change will be communicated in advance and will only take effect on your next billing cycle. You may cancel before the change takes effect if you do not agree.
