Cookie Notice
Last updated: May 2025
We keep this short because our cookie use is minimal — only what's needed to keep you signed in and the app working.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owners.
2. How We Use Cookies
SES Mailbox takes a deliberately minimal approach. We use only the cookies and local storage strictly necessary to run the application. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or sell any data collected via cookies.
3. Cookies We Use
Authentication & session
We store an authentication token in your browser so you stay signed in and your requests are authorised. Without this, the application cannot function.
Preferences
We may store small preferences (such as your last-used settings tab) locally in your browser to improve your experience. This data stays on your device.
Security
Certain cookies help us detect and prevent fraudulent activity and protect your account.
4. Third-Party Cookies
When you complete a payment, our payment processor (Razorpay) may set its own cookies to process the transaction securely and prevent fraud. These are governed by Razorpay's own privacy and cookie policies. We do not embed advertising or analytics trackers that profile you across other websites.
5. Managing Cookies
Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. Because the cookies we use are essential, blocking them will prevent you from signing in or using core features of SES Mailbox. We do not show intrusive cookie banners because we do not use non-essential tracking cookies.
6. Changes
If we introduce any new categories of cookies in future, we will update this notice and, where required by law, ask for your consent.
